1000 - Formation of Holy Roman Empire and High Middle Ages |

|||||
| This is the time where Christianity and kings are able to
create some order among the people of Europe. Europe is divided into Kingdoms,
and will remain that way until the 1800s. New agricultural advancements
were made (crop rotation), allowing people to live better than they did
in the Dark Ages, but Europe was not as prosperous as in the Roman days.
This is the era of castles, knights, King Arthur, and such. The Papacy in
Rome was formed, and the first popes guided the European kings on their
religious paths. |
