| Originally called the Peace of Paris, the treaty was actually
signed at Versailles to mock the Germans for Bismarck’s signing making
Germany a country before. This was where President Wilson introduced his
14 points, only one of which was agreed on, and that being the League of
Nations. Germany was treated mercilessly in the dealings, making them resentful
of all the surrounding nations and contributed to the second world war. |
