| A telegram was sent by the Germans to the Mexicans early
in World War One. In it, the Germans suggested that the Mexicans could assist
the Germans with attacking the United States, and could get back the territory
that they lost in the Mexican American War. The telegram was intercepted
by the British, who told the United States who responded to the threat.
This made the Germans seem very evil to the Americans. |
