| Meeting in May of 1848, they attempted to decide the fate
of Germany. The idea of revolutions and violence was not appealing to them,
and wanted to instead work together for a nationalistic nation. However,
each of the smaller groups thought that the entire nation should be nationalistic
in their style, so the good intentions by the assembly originally vanished. |
