|||||
| Troy was an ancient city that the Greeks sought to invade.
They besieged the city for some time, and finally gained entrance by tricking
the Trojans into taking a large wooden horse into their city which was filled
with the Greek soldiers. At night the soldiers climbed out and took over
the city. It was a deciding victory for the Greeks, making them more powerful
and contributed to the rise of the empire. |
