Welcome I have been interested in architecture and buildings for as long as I can remember. My major in college will be in Architectural Engineering, so it is fitting that I would chose to research architecture displayed in famous European buildings as my AP European History project. I chose to make my project in the form of a web page to make it unique, to make it stand out. Alternatively I could have put this same information in a report, but it would be boring, a Power Point, but that is overdone, or a poster, but that is unsophisticated. An interactive web page is the perfect fusion of my interest in architecture and my nerdy knowledge of html. This web site features about 30 different buildings from throughout Europe's history. Each one has general information about the building, the date(s) built, the architect (if known), the city and country it is located in, and the style in which it was built in. Additionally, each building has several pictures to go along with it. Most of them I found online, others I had in books, and a select few are from when I actually visited the building in the European Concert Tour last year. Enjoy, |
